Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas remarked that pro-choice (that is, pro-abortion) advocates “have been emboldened by the most pro-abortion White House in American history.” However, he also said the the pro-life movement has made great strides in recent years, passing laws in many states to shield the unborn from the worst abuses of the abortion industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He referred to the Roe v. Wade<\/em> decision by the Supreme Court in 1973 as a moral and constitutional travesty. In previous posts I have provided information on the case involving the Mississippi law which is now before the Supreme Court. Pro-life factions hope the Court will substantially deal with issues in the context of 2021 values and modern science concerning the beginning of life, fetal viability, and the concept that a fetus is a person with a right to life.
