This comes at a time when most other states are passing laws restricting abortion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Guttmacher Institute is reporting that there have been 559 abortion restriction bills introduced in 47 state legislatures so far in 2021, and 82 laws have already been enacted.  Only a few laws have been proposed to make it easier and cheaper to have an abortion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abortion opponents assert that California should make birth and maternity care more affordable.
